Maria + Pierre: Married

This was the first wedding I photographed by myself. I thought it fitting to post it now because, well, I hadn't yet, but also because I've improved so much since these were taken! I have been second shooting and assisting other photographers, all the while working on the way I approach photography. There's a lot I could critique about these images, but there's no need to cut myself down. Many other people will do it for me. I will just focus on the fact that I was happy and felt proud about my work, and that feeling hasn't left me. Already next year I've got some weddings lined up, and I know I'll be even better then. I'll be able to look at this post and think "yes, I am headed in the right direction, and I am learning, this is progress".
